Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused PGT Accountancy & Economics Teacher to teach senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII) as per the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment that prepares students for board examinations and higher education.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Accountancy and Economics to Classes XI & XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, worksheets, assignments, and question papers.
• Deliver interactive, concept-based lessons using modern teaching methodologies and digital tools.
• Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations through regular assessments, mock tests, and remedial classes.
• Develop students’ analytical thinking, financial literacy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Conduct periodic assessments and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Integrate real-life business, finance, and economic examples into classroom teaching.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, faculty meetings, school events, and co-curricular activities.
• Maintain discipline and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, NEP recommendations, and current developments in commerce and economics. ([Sharda World School][1])

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com.), Accountancy, or Economics from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. from a recognized institution (Mandatory).
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE/State Board school (preferred).
• Experience teaching **Classes XI & XII** is desirable.
• CTET/TET is an added advantage where applicable.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of CBSE Accountancy and Economics curriculum. Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Smart Boards, Google Workspace, MS Office, and digital learning platforms.
• Strong classroom management and student mentoring abilities.
• Ability to simplify complex accounting and economic concepts.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in preparing students for CBSE Board Examinations with consistently good results.
• Familiarity with NEP 2020 and competency-based education.
• Experience in organizing commerce-related clubs, financial literacy programs, or business events.
