Dance Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Dance Teacher to inspire students and develop their interest in dance. The candidate should be skilled in various dance forms and capable of training students for performances, competitions, and cultural events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct dance classes for students of different age groups
• Teach various dance forms (Classical, Western, Folk, Contemporary, etc.)
• Choreograph routines for school functions, annual days, and competitions
• Prepare students for inter-school and intra-school events
• Encourage creativity, rhythm, and confidence among students
• Maintain discipline and ensure student safety during sessions
• Collaborate with other teachers for cultural programs and activities
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in Dance or Performing Arts
• Proven experience as a Dance Teacher or Performer
• Knowledge of multiple dance styles is preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students
• Creative mindset with choreographic skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in school teaching
• Participation in competitions or stage performances
• Ability to handle large groups of students
