TGT SS – (Trained Graduate Teacher – Social Studies)

Job Description

• Teach Social Studies (History, Civics, Geography, Economics) to classes VI–X
• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids
• Conduct assessments, tests, and evaluate student performance
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
• Use modern teaching methods (smart class, activities, discussions)
• Encourage critical thinking and awareness about social issues
• Participate in school activities, events, and parent-teacher meetings

Skills Required:

• Strong subject knowledge in SST
• Good communication skills (English/Hindi as required)
• Classroom management skills
• Creative and activity-based teaching approach
• Basic computer knowledge
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Maintain student records and progress reports
• Support school functions, field trips, and projects
• Collaborate with other teachers and coordinators

Salary:

• As per school norms (Negotiable based on experience)
